Recap of Billboard’s All-Time Top Hot 100 Songs List

Billboard chose to celebrate its 55th anniversary by creating a list of all-time top Hot 100 songs. The list is full of songs that had strong performances on the Hot 100 chart. Artist who’s songs made the list include: Kanye West, Nelly, Usher, Alicia Keys, Diddy, and many more. Check out some of the songs that made it after the jump.

Legendary singers such as Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson also made the list. MJ’s “Billie Jean” came in at 81, Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” was at 49, and Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” reached 37.

Hip-hop’s presence was definitely felt on this list. Diddy’s ode to the Notorious B.I.G, “I’ll Be Missing You”, came in at 94. One of Kanye’s biggest hits, “Gold Digger”, made it to 58; Nelly’s “Dilemma” made it to the 75 spot. Even Coolio made list, with his hit “Gangsta Paradise” coming in at 79.
