First we have Mr. MFN eXquire, a Brooklyn rapper who has been busy in streets for awhile now. Last year he released The Man in the High Castle, which received good reviews. He’s back with a new tape entitled Kismet and has features from Danny Brown and Nacho Picasso. Be sure to listen to standout tracks such as “Cherry Raindrops” and I Was Drunk When I Wrote This”.
Next we have Chicago native Alex Wiley. Awhile ago he released the song “Creepin” which features Freddie Gibbs. Today he released his debut mixtape Club Wiley with the help of Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa, who are both from Chicago as well, and also Action Bronson. Alex Wiley is a clear indication that there is more to the Chicago rap scene than Chief Keef and GBE.
So let their music speak for itself and be on look out for these artist in future.
